Sister Of Brian Laundrie Makes Impassioned Plea To Her Missing Brother
Brian Laundrieâs sister issued a plea for him to give himself up during an interview on Tuesdayâs broadcast of âGood Morning America.â
âI would tell my brother to just come forward and get us out of this horrible mess,â Cassie Laundrie said of her missing sibling, who the FBI considers a âperson of interestâ in the death of his fiancée, 22-year-old lifestyle influencer Gabby Petito. Petitoâs body was found in Wyoming and her death has been ruled homicide.
Cassie Laundrie summarized her conflicting emotions about her brother, saying: âI worry about him, I hope heâs OK and then Iâm angry and I donât know what to think.â

â" Good Morning America (@GMA) October 5, 2021Petito vanished in August during a cross-country âvan lifeâ road trip with Laundrie, which sheâd been documenting on social media.
Laundrie returned in Petitoâs van to his parentsâ home in North Port, Florida, on Sept. 1. He was alone and offered no explanation for Petitoâs absence. Petitoâs family in Long Island, New York, reported her missing on Sept. 11.
Brian Laundrie then disappeared, sparking a nationwide manhunt, just before Petitoâs body was discovered in the Bridger-Teton National Forest near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming on Sept. 19.
He hasnât been charged in her death, but is being sought on a warrant accusing him of fraud related to the use of Petitoâs debit card.
