Mandalorian Star Giancarlo Esposito Has Blunt Advice For Hollywood Anti-Vaxxers
âThe Mandalorianâ star Giancarlo Esposito has some blunt advice for any coronavirus anti-vaxxers in Hollywood.
âIf you donât want to vaccinate, go to a small island and sequester yourself,â he told The Hollywood Reporter. â[Otherwise] youâre saying âFuck youâ to all you other human beings.â
AdvertisementEsposito, who portrayed the villainous Moff Gideon in the Disney series and drug lord Gus Fring on âBreaking Bad,â said he canât understand why people wouldnât want to be vaccinated for protection against the COVID-19 infection.
âFor me, Iâve lost dear friends, so I know itâs real,â he said. âNot only in Europe but in America, friends who were completely healthy and uncompromised. The vaccine is the answer.â
And he wasnât kidding about the sequestering thing, either.
âIâm not downing anyone who doesnât want to vaccinate,â he said, then repeated his solution: âDonât work. Go ride it out somewhere where youâre not going to compromise anyone else if you get it.â
Esposito starred alongside Gina Carano, who portrayed Cara Dune in the series but was given the boot by Lucasfilm over âabhorrentâ social media posts. She has since shared conspiracy theories and other misinformation about the coronavirus and the vaccine.
