Jennifer Aniston Is Ready To Be More Than Friends With The Right Guy
Itâs been three years since Jennifer Anistonâs last serious relationship, but she thinks sheâs once again ready for romance.
The former âFriendsâ star, who split up with actor Justin Theroux in 2018, appeared on SiriusXMâs âLunch with Bruceâ podcast on Monday to discuss her love life â such as itâs been.
âThere hasnât been time [to date]... and itâs COVID,â Aniston told host Bruce Bozzi. âAlthough, people seem to have met and found love during COVID. I donât know how it works. Iâm curious to walk up to those people and go, âSo, how did â what happened?ââ
Aniston said sheâs ready to make things happen romantically in her own life.
âI think itâs time. I think Iâm ready to share myself with another [person],â she said. âI didnât want to for a long time, and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple. Iâd been a part of a couple since I was 20. So there was something really nice about taking the time.â
However, âno one of importance has hit my radar yet,â the star said.
The rumor mill attempted to link Aniston with her former co-star David Schwimmer earlier this year, but Schwimmer was quick to shut that down.
Finding that new special someone might be a challenge for Aniston â though, probably not very much harder than it is for most people â because she doesnât want to meet her next partner via a dating app like Tinder.
âIâm an old-school girl,â she said Monday, explaining that sheâs holding out for the âchemistryâ that happens when she sees someone âfrom across a room.â
âPeople donât come up to people anymore. People donât do that,â Aniston lamented. âItâs weird.â
Aniston said her ideal guy is funny, confident â but not cocky â and generous and kind to others.
Thereâs another factor as well.
âFitness is important, and not just about, like, how you look,â Aniston told Bozzi. âI want to be around here for a long time, and not be in a wheelchair when Iâm 80.â
